What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Develop and maintain relationships with Customs Brokers to ensure compliance with company guidelines
Coordinate the maintenance of records for import and export transactions
Identify and implement compliance initiatives to streamline import and export processes
Administer the Export Customer Screening Program to meet US Government Watch List requirements
Keep up-to-date on all US Customs rules and regulations
What is Required (Qualifications)
Typically 2 to 4 years of related professional experience
Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in a related discipline
Understanding of industry practices and company policies and procedures
Good writing and communication skills
Advanced understanding of International Business and proficiency in classifying imported and exported products
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
1 or more industry certifications related to international trade compliance
