Role Overview As an Inside Sales team member you are responsible for acquiring new restaurants in key German markets. Working with the Lead Research Team and using Salesforce, you will take a proactive role in cold‑calling, building relationships, and closing deals. You own the entire sales process, from the first pitch to contract negotiation.
Key Responsibilities
Acquire new partnerships: identify and acquire partners (restaurants, grocery stores, etc.) in strategic and growing cities through proactive sales activities.
Cold Calling & Lead Generation: leverage the Lead Research Team to identify potential partners; conduct cold calls to generate interest and qualify leads.
Sales Management: manage the full sales cycle, including first contact, presentation, negotiations, and contract signing.
Pipeline Management: independently manage your own pipeline focused on closing new partnerships; weekly KPIs tracked.
Reporting & Analysis: report progress in Salesforce, including pipeline development and performance metrics for assigned cities.
Relationship Building: develop and maintain strong relationships with partners to secure long‑term collaboration.
Collaboration: work closely with Inside Sales, Grocery, and Key Account Management to accelerate SMB acquisition and win strategic key accounts.
Requirements
Proven experience in Business Development, Inside Sales or Outbound Sales, preferably in a B2B environment.
Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to close deals.
Experience with cold‑calling and building new relationships from scratch; proficiency in using Salesforce for pipeline management.
Fluency in German and English.
Experience in the food‑delivery, grocery or e‑commerce industry.
Knowledge of German cities and their business environment.
Experience in growth strategies and market penetration.
