Job Description If you are an enthusiastic self-starter with a passion for selling and you enjoy serving an exclusive clientele, then we want you to be part of our team as a Luxury Pre‑Owned Sales Consultant. The Sales Consultant is comfortable relating to our guests and is knowledgeable about our vehicles and services, the industry, and our market, including vehicle selection, performance, accessories, safety features and functions, and financing options for both new and used vehicle inventories. The Sales Consultant presents pre‑owned vehicles to guests in a professional and highly informative fashion that promotes a positive and accommodating guest purchase experience and maintains an ongoing relationship with clients to encourage networking and repeat business.
The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and some education beyond high school, sales experience (any industry), excellent customer service skills, a confident and outgoing personality, a professional appearance, and great communication skills. Candidates must be self‑motivated with a willingness to serve customers and prospect on an ongoing basis to build a client base.
Responsibilities
Assists clients with vehicle selection and promotes model options and features
Models by example the Dimmitt mission statement by being an empowered, passionate, and positive associate who provides exceptional personalized service to the Company’s guests and community
Negotiates sale closure in a clear, concise, and highly ethical fashion
Helps facilitate delivery by providing a clear explanation of vehicle and features operation, warranty, and servicing requirements
Maintains accurate sales documentation
Maintains up‑to‑date knowledge of all vehicles, accessories, financing options, and promotions
Attends events, staff meetings, trainings, and educational classes as required
Conducts vehicle test drives and ensures all speed limits and all other rules of the road are followed
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma required; additional education beyond high school preferred
Verifiable sales performance (any industry)
Demonstrated ability in relationship selling
Excellent communication, customer service, and problem‑solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress
Excellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally with clients, vendors, and staff
Able to achieve goals with limited direct supervision
Professional appearance and demeanor
Pleasant/friendly approach and an outgoing personality
Basic computer and internet skills
Valid Florida driver’s license and an impeccable driving record

for full‑time associates is 1st of month after 60 days. The plan includes:
Subsidized Health Insurance
with eligibility the first of the month following 60 days of service

after the completion of 90 days of service
