Customer Service/Warranty Representative
We are searching for an experienced Customer Service/Warranty Representative at our Plant 23 DMP-Atlanta, GA facility. Dexter is the premier manufacturer and supplier of axles, suspension, brakes, doors, venting products, trailer parts, accessories, and towing components serving the commercial trailer, RV, heavy‑duty, marine, agriculture, and manufactured housing markets.
Responsibilities
Order entry and maintaining system information including product pricing and availability.
Responding to customer inquiries both in person and over the phone.
Enter customer orders, suggest additional products and provide technical assistance to customers when needed.
Contact truck run customers for orders and ensure timely placement.
Make same‑day follow‑up calls regarding back‑orders and delivery dates.
Actively participate in company‑defined sales initiatives to solicit potential and existing customers whose sales have declined.
Research customer service complaints and answer customer questions; consult with management for direction to resolve complaints.
Research all customer warranty and/or return requests, completing appropriate forms and documentation related to the problem.
Qualifications
Strong customer service skills and the ability to develop product knowledge to specify and recommend appropriate products.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Self‑starter with knowledge of Microsoft Office.
1‑2 years’ experience in customer service.
