Qualifications of an Automotive Sales Consultant
Quality customer service skills and sales track record
Enthusiastic with high energy throughout the sales workday
Strong interpersonal and communications, in‑person and over the phone
College education preferred, but not required
Must have a valid Driver’s License
Primary Responsibilities of Experienced Automotive Sales Associate
Builds and maintains long‑term relationships with customers, serving as the first point of contact between the customer and the
Promotes Roush standards for superior customers, employees and Roush dealership
Collaborating with team members to reach sales
Determining the best trade‑in value via a fair and equitable
Satisfy the customer’s purchasing needs via seamless sales
Close sales effectively, being profit‑minded, and understanding new and used car financing and insurance.
Develop new business and leads increase customer base.
Closely follow the deal process and coordinate with management throughout the sales
Converting showroom visitors into customers by understanding their needs and interests and matching them to the most appropriate
Understanding the characteristics, capabilities and features of all cars and providing the potential customer with detailed information, including comparing different competitive
Taking customers on test drives and demonstrating vehicle
Building a rapport with potential customers to improve the possibility of a sale in the
Maintaining a customer database and communicating with
Assisting customers with completing the relevant paperwork required for a successful sale to be processed.
Maintaining reporting structures and recording sales and inventory on our
Assisting with the setup of showroom and promotional
