Join a dynamic legal team as an Intellectual Property Associate where you will play a pivotal role in handling complex IP matters. This position offers the opportunity to work in a hybrid setting based out of our New York City office, with a requirement to be onsite at least four days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

* Draft and negotiate sophisticated intellectual property agreements, including tech and non-tech licensing, data privacy, and IP asset sales. * Engage in IP litigation from inception through trial and appeal, managing cases involving trademark, patent, copyright, unfair competition, and trade secret disputes. * Have direct client interactions, conduct depositions, and represent clients in court appearances. * Participate in federal court litigation involving trademark, copyright, trade dress, rights of publicity, trade secret, false advertising, and unfair competition. * Prepare and argue motions, draft pleadings, and assist with expert reports and discovery. * Implement settlement strategies, including mediation and dispute resolution. * Conduct UDRP proceedings and TTAB litigation. * Manage global trademark portfolios and advise on domestic and international trademark clearance, filing strategies, prosecution, and enforcement. * Advise clients on copyright matters, advertising copy review, privacy and publicity rights, and competitive advertising issues.

Qualifications:

* Must be a member in good standing of the New York State Bar. * Minimum of 5 years of IP litigation experience is required. * Familiarity with financing transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and joint ventures is preferred. * Willingness to travel as needed.
