Job Overview Responsibilities: Provide professional vocational rehabilitation counseling to individuals with a diversity of disabilities to help them attain employment and coordinate services. Develop Individualized Plans for Employment, conduct in‑depth interviews, manage resources, collaborate with community partners, and maintain financial accountability.

Key Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a social, behavioral or rehabilitative science, education, or related field (master’s may substitute) and one year of professional counseling experience in a vocational rehabilitation program.

Proficient in counseling theory, communication, data analysis, and program planning.

Experience with eligibility determination, individualized plan development, job placement, and coordination of services.

Ability to collaborate with team members and community partners to secure employment opportunities.

Essential Skills

Interviewing and assessment of clients

Developing and implementing vocational rehabilitation programs

Maintaining case records and client data

Communicating effectively with clients and partners

Using state and federal regulations and automated systems
