Job Responsibilities:
Property Maintenance:
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of residential apartments, addressing issues related to plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC units, carpentry, and general building repairs.
Preventative Maintenance:
Implement and monitor preventive maintenance programs to ensure buildings and facilities are proactively cared for, identifying potential issues before they occur.
Emergency Repairs:
Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests, ensuring residents’ safety and comfort at all times.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with the property management team and other maintenance staff to maintain the quality and appearance of the community.
Compliance:
Ensure that all repairs and maintenance work comply with building codes, health, and safety regulations.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of maintenance requests and actions taken, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and reported correctly.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repair skills.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong time-management skills and the ability to prioritize.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus.
