Job Opportunity: Collector - Collections Department

The Collector is a crucial part of our team, tasked with managing a designated portfolio of accounts to recover outstanding balances. This role goes beyond simply making calls; it requires a blend of excellent communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities

* Proactive Account Management: Organize, prioritize, and strategically manage a portfolio of accounts to maximize recovery. * Customer-Centric Communication: Contact debtors via phone and other channels to understand their situation, negotiate payment solutions, and resolve outstanding debt professionally and empathetically. * Negotiation and Problem-Solving: Develop creative solutions for payment plans or settlements while adhering to company policies and legal regulations. * Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records in our company database, logging all communications and actions for clear audit trails. * Compliance and Regulation: Follow all relevant laws and regulations, including FDCPA and HIPAA, ensuring ethical and legal collection practices.

Position Details

* Day Shifts:

* Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (plus one Saturday per month, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM) * Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (plus one Saturday per month, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM) * If a candidate is open to both 8-5 and 9-6 shifts, please specify in the submittal.

* Night Shift:

* Monday-Thursday, 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM * Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (No Saturdays)

* Training: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM for approximately two weeks * Pay Rate:

* Non-Bilingual: $19.50/hr * Bilingual (Spanish): $20.50/hr
