Job Summary The Employment Specialist is a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) who provides employment skills training to individuals with serious mental illness and possible co-occurring substance use disorders, chronic health conditions, and/or intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role includes diagnostic evaluation, assessment, and collaboration with individuals to define and facilitate desired life outcomes using a recovery‑based and trauma‑informed perspective. Responsibilities include delivering therapeutic interventions that foster skills to manage symptoms, maintain employment or housing, and help obtain services such as education, medical care, nutritional assistance, financial, transportation, legal assistance, and other resources. Services are typically provided in the community.
Regular, predictable attendance is considered an essential requirement. Other duties may be assigned and a flexible work schedule may be required.

Education
Graduated from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree, major specialization in Human/Behavioral/Social Services or a related field.
License
Current and valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Experience
Preferred: 1 year experience working in the behavioral health field.
Hours and Schedule Hours:
Full‑Time
Workdays:
Monday – Friday (on call rotation weekends/holidays)
Workhours:
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary $24.18 – $25.39 per hour based on education plus an additional 10% crisis stipend.
