Job Description
Loyalty Tax Prep is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as
Tax Preparer Trainees
for the upcoming tax season.
This position includes a required in‑person training program followed by a commission‑based contractor opportunity preparing tax returns during tax season.
Training Details (Required)
7‑day in‑person training
December 22 – December 30
Includes weekend sessions
Christmas break included
Hours: 9:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Location: Tampa, FL
Certification and software training are included.
Compensation
Commission‑based (not hourly)
Earn $200–$500 per client
Preparers keep the majority of their preparation fees
Strong seasonal income potential
Training Cost & Payment Options
Option 1 – Discounted Pay‑in‑Full: $350 upfront
Option 2 – $75 book fee to start:
Total program cost: $500
Remaining $425 deducted from commissions once work begins
If 50 or more clients are serviced, the $425 is reimbursed
$75 book fee is non‑refundable
Contractor agreement required
Most trainees recover training costs within 1–2 clients.
Online Training Option An online training program is also available for candidates unable to attend in person. Online payment plans differ from the in‑office program.

Strong communication skills
Ability to learn quickly
Comfortable with commission‑based pay
Reliable and professional
No prior tax experience required
