Credit & Collections Specialist
Location:
This role requires associates to be in-office 2 days per week (Tuesday and Wednesday) fostering collaboration and connectivity while providing flexibility to support productivity and work‑life balance. Candidates not within a reasonable commuting distance will not be considered unless an accommodation is granted as required by law.
The
Credit & Collections Specialist
will be responsible for collection activities related to past‑due health insurance premiums and/or past‑due health insurance claims.
How you will make an impact:
Follows established guidelines, contacts group for the purpose of collecting past‑due insurance premiums and/or past‑due health insurance claims.
Researches validity of past‑due and/or disputed debt.
Generates demand letters.
Prepares reports reflecting status of credit and collection activities for management review.
Minimum Requirements: Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 1 year of prior commercial debt collection experience; or any combination of education and experience providing an equivalent background.
