Machine Operator-Brake Press Tasks & Duties
Operate press brake machinery to fabricate metal parts based on engineering specifications.
Set up machinery, select and install appropriate dies, and adjust settings to meet project requirements.
Perform die changes efficiently with minimal downtime to maintain production schedules.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine work requirements.
Monitor machine operations to ensure consistent product quality throughout the production process.
Shift Information
Various shifts; weekend availability required.
Monday - Friday plus overtime as needed based on production.
Qualifications (Requirements/Skills)
Experience as a machine operator-brake press.
Printing press experience.
Knowledge of colors and sheet metal.
Bilingual preferred.
Able to pass a pre‑employment drug screen.
Able to pass a background check.
Able to work in the US.
Proven experience as a Press Brake with a strong understanding of metal fabrication processes.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Experience with tooling setup, die changes, and machine calibration techniques.
