Goosmann Law is seeking a full‑time Paralegal to join our Omaha office. This position supports attorneys across corporate, transactional, and real estate matters and plays a key role in managing documentation, filings, and client coordination throughout their lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Assist attorneys with corporate, business, real estate, and municipalities matters from initial intake through closing
Prepare, review, and organize transactional documents, contracts, filings, and closing materials
Draft routine correspondence, corporate records, and supporting legal documents
Coordinate filings with state and local agencies, including entity formation and compliance documentation
Manage and maintain accurate client files, calendars, deadlines, and document management systems
Assist with due diligence, document review, and organization of transaction materials
Communicate professionally with attorneys, clients, governmental entities, and third parties
Track tasks and deadlines across multiple matters with accuracy and attention to detail
Record billable time in accordance with firm policies
Required Skills and Abilities
Strong organizational, time‑management, and prioritization skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced legal environment
Professional judgment and discretion in handling confidential information
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal document management systems
Problem‑solving mindset with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of paralegal experience in corporate, business, and/or real estate law
Prior private practice experience preferred
Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience strongly preferred
Valid driver’s license required
