Litigation Associate

Position Overview Our Civil Litigation team is seeking a skilled Associate to join us in our New York office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil litigation, focused on cases involving Auto and Premises Liability. This position is essential for supporting our clients in various legal matters and ensuring effective representation from intake to resolution. If you have 2+ years of experience in civil litigation defense and are looking to join a firm with a clear path for growth, we want to talk to you!

Key Responsibilities

* Conduct legal research and analysis on complex litigation matters. * Draft and review pleadings, motions, and discovery materials. * Prepare and attend depositions, hearings, and trials. * Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and legal arguments. * Manage case files and maintain organized documentation throughout the litigation process. * Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and expert consultants as needed. * Attend court proceedings and represent clients during hearings and trials.

Qualifications

* Juris Doctor (JD) * Admitted to practice in the state of NY * 2+ years of experience in civil litigation, preferably * Strong understanding of premises liability and auto liability cases. * Experience handling depositions and drafting motions and discovery documents. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Benefits
