Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Civil Litigation Associate to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil litigation, particularly in personal injury defense, insurance defense, and premises liability. This role involves representing clients in various civil cases, providing legal advice, and ensuring the best possible outcomes for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct legal research and analysis on various cases * Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests * Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and trials * Develop and implement legal strategies to achieve favorable outcomes * Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff to prepare for cases * Maintain case files and ensure compliance with legal procedures and deadlines * Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel * Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations pertaining to civil litigation
Qualifications
* Barred in FL * JD from an accredited law school * 3+ years of experience in civil litigation * Experience in personal injury defense, insurance defense, premises liability, and auto liability is preferred * Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
