Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail‑oriented Loan Officer Assistant to support our growing mortgage team. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, experience in residential lending, and the ability to speak Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese) and/or Spanish to support our multilingual client base.
Responsibilities
Assist Loan Officer with daily pipeline management
Communicate with borrowers, realtors and partners in English and Chinese and/or Spanish
Gather and review borrower documentation (bank statements, paystubs, tax returns, etc.)
Prepare loan applications, disclosures and pre‑approval packages
Run AUS (DU/LP) and help structure files
Maintain updates in LOS (Encompass or similar)
Order third‑party services (title, appraisal, insurance, VOE, etc.)
Provide excellent customer service and proactive communication throughout the loan process
Help ensure files meet compliance and TRID requirements
Qualifications
Must be fluent in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) and/or Spanish
2–3 years of experience in mortgage lending, processing, or LOA/Loan Partner role
Working knowledge of mortgage programs (Conventional, FHA, VA)
Strong attention to detail and task management
Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment
Professional, courteous, and customer‑focused communication style
Preferred Qualifications
NMLS license
Experience supporting a high‑volume loan officer
Compensation $55,000+ base salary DOE + bonuses
