Overview
System Transport is hiring experienced CDL‑A flatbed truck drivers for regional and OTR routes across western America. Drivers will transport goods such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Route Type : Regional Route
Division : Division 290
Terminal : Kansas City, MO
Home Time : Off most weekends for a 34‑hour reset (home time varies by division)
Financial Package Full‑time drivers can earn $912.23 – $1,862.98 per week, equivalent to $47,424.00 – $96,824.00 per year. Pay varies by experience, routes, attendance, and length of service.
Flatbed Regional Driver Rate: $.57 – $.71 per mile (depending on experience). Includes mileage pay and additional accessorial compensation such as tarp pay, stop pay, detention pay, border crossing pay, safety bonuses, and over‑dimension pay.
Transition Package We provide a $1,800 Transition Package, with $1,000 allocated for orientation during your first two weeks.

Hiring Qualifications
Valid Class A CDL
21 years of age or older
Minimum 4 months of driving experience
Safe driving record
No more than six jobs in the past three years
Preferred: one year of truck driving experience (not required)
Background check required
Clean drug test required
Clean clearinghouse result required
Physically able to lift a 90‑pound tarp onto a 5‑foot high platform twice (tested during orientation). Flatbed drivers tarp approximately 70% of loads.
Safety Commitment
Modern trucks with lane departure & forward‑collision warning, hard‑brake monitoring, and satellite communication.
24/7/365 road service staff & shops.
Repairs complete before trucks return to service.
