About This Position We're actively hiring a Utility for our LNG barge operations, in Savannah, GA. The AB dock worker duties include but are not limited to performing all duties and responsibilities of all deck work - handling lines, chipping & painting, general maintenance, loading stores, and sanitary work. Must be able to splice lines. Support general engine maintenance under the guidance of the Chief Engineer. Must be an accomplished and diligent watch stander, including the conduct of security rounds and fire watch throughout the entire vessel both pier side and underway. Must keep the officers informed of vessel condition at all times. Carry out orders in accordance with Company Procedures and Safety Policies.
Responsibilities
Perform all duties and responsibilities of all deck work, including handling lines, chipping & painting, general maintenance, loading stores, and sanitary work.
Splice lines.
Support general engine maintenance under the guidance of the Chief Engineer.
Serve as an accomplished and diligent watchstander, conducting security rounds and fire watch throughout the vessel, both pier side and underway.
Keep officers informed of vessel condition at all times.
Carry out orders in accordance with Company Procedures and Safety Policies.
