About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Organizing, Engagement, and Campaigns. The successful candidate will be a strategic and innovative leader with a deep understanding of the political landscape and a proven track record in running successful campaigns. This role is pivotal in leading the organization's strategy for national and local advocacy, including 360 campaigns, ballot initiatives, and electoral work. The VP will be responsible for engaging a large supporter base, guiding local organizations, and ensuring that the mission of the company is advanced through effective organizing and engagement. A key aspect of the role is to lead the critical electoral work, including candidate elections, and to work in partnership with organizational leaders to make strategic decisions and execute the work.
Applicants must have at least 10 years' of experience in managing people and teams, with a strong commitment to advancing racial equity and a fluency in diversity, equity, and inclusion. The role requires excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to motivate staff and colleagues. The VP will also be responsible for managing multi-million dollar budgets, so experience in financial stewardship is essential. The ideal candidate will have a collaborative work style, be adept at building strong relationships, and have a proven ability to lead large teams. A background in reproductive health policy and a commitment to the mission of the company is a must.
