About the Role
The Company is in search of an Executive Director to lead its multi-campus Hillel and create a vibrant, inclusive, and pluralistic Jewish community for students and young adults. The successful candidate will be a strategic and visionary leader, responsible for inspiring and organizing diverse Jewish life on campus, managing the organization's financials, and developing strong relationships with university administrators. Fundraising is a key aspect of the role, and the Executive Director will be expected to develop and implement a robust annual development plan, engage with major donors, and ensure the financial resources match the institution's needs. The role also involves staff supervision and development, as well as cultivating relationships with all stakeholders, including students, community leaders, and alumni.
Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company's Hillel should have a minimum of 6 years' professional experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, and a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in strategic planning, team management, financial resource development, and inspiring pluralistic Jewish life. They should possess excellent communication and organizational skills, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a passion for working with college-age students.
