About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Strategy and Business Development to play a pivotal role in driving the organization's growth and transformation. The successful candidate will be a key player in the development and execution of the business and corporate development agenda, with a focus on identifying and pursuing M&A and licensing opportunities. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong commercial and financial acumen, capable of leading end-to-end project management of transactions and ensuring they align with the company's overall growth strategy. The VP will also be responsible for leading the due diligence process, collaborating with legal and external advisors, and partnering with the integration team to maximize the value of acquisitions.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, 8-10 years of previous transaction experience, and a proven track record of building and managing relationships. They should be a self-starter, high-energy individual with excellent project management skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholders. A passion for driving value-creating opportunities, entrepreneurship, and a clear, succinct communicator is essential. The role demands a professional with exceptional modeling skills, including complex financial analysis, and proficiency in Microsoft productivity software. The VP will also be involved in supporting day-to-day investment committee matters and leading the preparation of materials for executive and board-level approvals.
