About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief of Staff to serve as a strategic advisor and liaison for the Justice of the Peace. The successful candidate will work closely with the Judge to manage court activities, prepare and administer budgets, and maintain fiscal records. This role involves overseeing talent acquisition, setting and achieving goals, and ensuring the development and implementation of policies and procedures that comply with legal requirements. The Chief of Staff will also be responsible for budget management, including reconciling statements, monitoring expenditures, and preparing annual budgets.
Applicants for the Chief of Staff position at the company should have a degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of 4 years' experience in relevant positions, with at least 2 years in an administrative or supervisory role. Experience in government or project management is preferred. The role requires a strong knowledge of the justice system, court procedures, and local, state, and federal laws. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills, be advanced in the Microsoft Office suite, and possess excellent organizational abilities. A can-do attitude, resourcefulness, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment are essential.
