Assembly Technician

We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Assembly Technician to join our client's production team. This is a crucial, hands-on role involving the assembly of high-precision components designed to excel in challenging industrial environments, from detecting microscopic details to handling high-speed processes.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Assembly Technician will be responsible for the intricate hand assembly of sensitive components, ensuring unmatched quality and reliability in the finished sensor products.

  • Precision Assembly: Perform intricate hand assembly of small, delicate sensor components using precision tools and specialized equipment.
  • Technical Guidance: Accurately follow complex engineering drawings, schematics, and detailed work instructions to ensure flawless assembly.
  • Quality Control: Conduct visual and functional inspections on completed components to meet stringent company standards for reliability and precision.
  • Rework and Modification: Perform minor rework or adjustments on components as needed to ensure the final product adheres to all specifications.
  • Documentation: Accurately document all work performed, including time logs and any deviations or defects observed during the assembly process.
  • Workspace Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and ESD-compliant work environment suitable for handling sensitive electronic components.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Assembly Experience: Proven experience in a precision assembly role, such as electronics, medical devices, or high-tech manufacturing, is strongly preferred.
  • Manual Dexterity: Exceptional manual dexterity and excellent hand-eye coordination are essential for handling small, sensitive components.
  • Technical Interpretation: Ability to read and accurately interpret technical documents and detailed work instructions.
  • Quality Focus: Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing components that meet demanding quality and reliability standards.
  • Tools: Familiarity with assembly hand tools, basic measurement equipment, and working in an ESD-controlled environment.
