We are looking for a skilled Accounting Specialist to join our team in Indio, California on a contract basis. This role involves managing key financial processes such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations while ensuring the accuracy of financial records. Successful candidates will have a strong background in accounting functions and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Responsibilities: Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with precision and efficiency. Complete and verify bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting. Monitor invoices, payments, and collections to keep financial operations on track. Utilize Microsoft Excel to create, update, and maintain financial spreadsheets and databases. Assist in the preparation of month-end and year-end closing activities. Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records and transactions. Communicate effectively with vendors, clients, and internal staff regarding financial matters. Support additional administrative and accounting tasks as needed. Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable. Proficiency in performing bank reconciliations independently. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for financial data management. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Effective verbal and written communication abilities. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment. Customer service mindset with strong attention to detail in interaction skills.
