Your Key Responsibilities Utilize radiographic and CT techniques to produce top-quality diagnostic images essential for physician assessments Engage collaboratively with radiologists and the healthcare team to ensure precise diagnoses Accurately position patients and adjust equipment to enhance image clarity Adhere strictly to radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff Maintain comprehensive records, including imaging logs and the upkeep of equipment Deliver compassionate care throughout the imaging experience Help foster a safe and efficient imaging environment Education You Need
Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is essential; a Bachelor's Degree is advantageous Completion of an accredited radiology program required Certification Requirements
ARRT certification in CT and/or Radiography is mandatory Current BLS certification or willingness to acquire it within 90 days of employment Essential Skills for Success
