'We are seeking a skilled Commercial Driver to join our team at First Nations Community HealthSource in the Albuquerque. This role is vital for ensuring the timely and safe transportation of patients/clients and some equipment, contributing significantly to our mission of delivering comprehensive healthcare services to our community.' *Responsibilities*
* Operate commercial and civilian vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. * Transport patients and clients, and occasionally supplies between clinic sites and health centers. * Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance. * Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and deliveries. * Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring proper handling of materials. * Collaborate with healthcare staff to coordinate pick up and drop off schedules. * Adhere to company policies regarding safety protocols and vehicle maintenance. * Provide exceptional customer service while interacting with staff and community members during deliveries.
*Qualifications*
* Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record. * Current Endorsement: Passenger * Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably with various large vehicle and passenger types , to include ADA lifts. * Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in transportation. * Ability to perform physical tasks such as loading/unloading cargo. * Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members. * Familiarity with route planning and navigation tools is preferred.
