We are a *family-owned, sales-focused independent insurance agency* with offices in Rhinebeck, Pine Plains, and Millerton. Due to continued growth, we are hiring a *Personal Lines Account Representative* to join our team in Millerton!
In this client-facing role, you'll advise individuals and families on personal insurance coverage (home, auto, umbrella, etc.), help manage policies, and identify opportunities to grow our book of business through exceptional service and consultative sales.
*What You'll Do:*
* Provide outstanding service to personal lines clients by reviewing, advising, and updating their insurance coverage.
* Educate clients on available insurance products and tailor solutions to meet their individual needs.
* Manage renewals, endorsements, and policy updates accurately and efficiently.
* Identify opportunities to cross-sell or up-sell coverage to existing clients.
* Generate new business through referrals, networking, and walk-ins.
* Maintain organized client records using modern agency software.

* *Detail-oriented* with strong follow-up skills

* Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
* Strong communication and customer service skills
*Qualifications:*
* NYS Property & Casualty Insurance License *preferred* (must be obtained after hire if not already licensed)
* Insurance experience is a *plus*, but *not required* – we’re happy to train the right candidate
* Strong computer and tech skills preferred (we use modern insurance platforms)
