Job Title: Concrete Carpenter
Job Summary: A Concrete Carpenter is responsible for constructing, assembling, and dismantling the forms or molds used in concrete construction projects. They work closely with construction crews to ensure that concrete structures are built accurately and to the required specifications.
Responsibilities:
1. Formwork Construction:
Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications to understand formwork requirements
Build and set up wooden or metal forms according to design specifications, ensuring the correct shape size, and alignment for the concrete structure
2. Reinforcement Installation:
Install reinforcing bars (rebar) and other structural components within the forms as needed to provide structural integrity to the concrete structure
3. Concrete Pouring and Finishing:
Work with concrete crews to coordinate the pouring and placement of concrete into the forms
Assist in the finishings process by leveling, smoothing, and shaping the concrete surface to meet quality standards
4. Quality Control:
Inspect forms for proper alignment and dimensions before concrete placement
Monitor the concrete curing process to ensure it progresses as expected
Identify and address any defects or issues with the formwork
Assist with other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must be able to pass background check and drug screening
Active Drivers License required
Extensive experience as a concrete carpenter
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction plans
Knowledge of various formwork materials and construction methods
Ability to work in a physically demanding and fastpaced construction environment
Physical stamina and the ability to work in challenging weather conditions

Salary: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour (Depending on experience)
