Opportunity for an experienced Staff Pharmacist to lead and manage a busy retail pharmacy location near Reno, NV. This 13-week contract role offers the chance to utilize your strong leadership skills in a dynamic environment undergoing important staffing transitions. Ideal candidates will have prior experience as a Pharmacy Manager or Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) with retail expertise and must be immunization certified. Location: Reno, NV area (Raley's Incline Village, about an hour south of Reno) Schedule: Monday to Friday: 10:00 AM 7:00 PM Saturday: 9:00 AM 5:30 PM Key Responsibilities: Serve as the Pharmacist in Charge, ensuring smooth daily pharmacy operations Provide expert supervision and leadership to pharmacy staff during times of transition Administer immunizations and manage patient medication therapy review Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations Utilize pharmacy software (ERx training provided) Qualifications and Desired Experience: Valid, clear Nevada pharmacist license Immunization certification required Proven experience as Pharmacy Manager or PIC in a retail setting Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment Benefits and Perks: Competitive compensation tailored to your expertise Daily mileage reimbursement for candidates commuting from Reno Training provided on pharmacy software to ease onboarding This contract role is ideal for pharmacists seeking a leadership position with a clear impact.
