As a Sonic Multi-Unit Leader, you will manage the operations of all General Managers and employees within multiple SONIC drive-ins. Your responsibilities include training and supporting employees to ensure quality food, cleanliness, safety, and efficiency, providing guests with an enjoyable experience. Job duties include:

  1. Managing, training, and coaching General Managers and conducting management orientation.
  2. Directing and assigning employees to meet operational standards.
  3. Overseeing employees and management in performing duties across various stations to ensure quality standards are met.
  4. Ensuring compliance with the employee handbook, policies, and practices.
  5. Addressing employee issues and policy violations promptly.
  6. Reviewing work schedules to ensure proper staffing.
  7. Monitoring cost control procedures for food, labor, and inventory, and taking corrective actions as needed.
  8. Monitoring vendor performance and taking corrective actions when necessary.
  9. Auditing employment and payroll records.
  10. Focusing on guest needs and responding to escalated requests or complaints.
  11. Recruiting, interviewing, and hiring management team members.
  12. Approving compensation levels within company guidelines.
  13. Preparing operational reports and developing action plans for financial or sales issues.
  14. Developing and implementing regional marketing plans.

Additional Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; advanced studies preferred.
  • Minimum three years of restaurant management experience, preferably in QSR.
  • Multi-unit supervision experience required.
  • Availability to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Knowledge of recruiting, interviewing, and employment laws.
  • Leadership, communication, basic accounting, and computer skills.
  • Ability to work independently, multitask, and solve problems effectively.
  • Adherence to appearance, uniform, and hygiene standards.
