SONIC Multi-Unit Leader Job Description

As a Sonic Multi-Unit Leader, you will manage the operations of all General Managers and employees across multiple SONIC drive-ins. Your responsibilities include training and supporting employees to ensure the delivery of quality food in a clean, safe, and efficient environment, providing guests with an enjoyable experience. Job duties include:
- Managing, training, and coaching General Managers, including conducting management orientation.
- Directing and assigning employees to ensure service standards are met.
- Overseeing employees and management in various stations (e.g., Fountain & Frozen, Grill, Drive-Thru) to meet operational standards.
- Ensuring compliance with employee handbook policies and practices.
- Addressing employee issues and policy violations promptly.
- Reviewing work schedules to ensure adequate staffing.
- Monitoring and controlling costs related to food, labor, and inventory.
- Monitoring vendor performance and taking corrective actions when necessary.
- Auditing employment and payroll records.
- Focusing on guest needs and responding to escalated guest requests and complaints.
- Recruiting, interviewing, and hiring management team members.
- Approving compensation levels within company guidelines.
- Preparing operational reports and developing action plans for financial or sales issues.
- Developing and implementing regional marketing plans.
Additional requirements include:
- High school diploma or equivalent; advanced studies preferred.
- At least three years of restaurant management experience, preferably in QSR.
- Multi-unit supervision experience is required.
- Ability to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of recruiting, labor laws, health, and sanitation regulations.
- Leadership, communication, and basic computer skills.
- Ability to work independently, multitask, and solve problems effectively.
