Overview
CarMax is seeking Sales Consultants who will use their knowledge of CarMax inventory to assist customers in finding vehicles that meet their needs. The role is in a high energy sales environment where teamwork is essential to meet goals. No prior auto sales experience is necessary as paid training and a personal sales mentor are provided. CarMax is the nation’s largest retailer of used cars, known for honesty, transparency, and integrity, with over 200 locations nationwide. Responsibilities
Guide customers through the sales process, from sale or appraisal to test drives and arranging financing applications. Complete all relevant records and documentation to ensure smooth transactions. Assist customers in finding vehicles that meet their needs using knowledge of CarMax inventory. Compensation & Schedule
Pay: $20/hr during training. For the first 640 hours of selling after training, wages are training pay; after that, commissions become the primary base of pay. Schedule: FT/PT evenings & weekends. Location: Louisville, KY. Qualifications
Sales and customer service experience, preferably in retail. Good listening skills, strong customer focus, and a high level of self-motivation. Equal Opportunity
