This is more than just a management role, with a clear route to Director and beyond, and a defined trajectory over the next 5 years. What we’re looking for: Proven success in a management position within a staffing agency — managing outcomes, KPIs, reporting, and a solid understanding of how a 360 recruitment agency works A natural organiser and engaging communicator Leads from the front, still billing, and driving standards A track record of developing junior consultants Business development and a growth mindset Energy, spark, and enthusiasm Office presence: 4 days a week in the office and 1 day remote Responsibilities
Business Development
Lead the business development strategy, including market mapping and territory coverage Build and strengthen relationships with new and existing hiring managers to win business for yourself and your team Cross-sell Harnham’s wider offerings and represent the brand at client meetings and industry events Collaborate with colleagues across teams to expand the customer base and maximize opportunities with clients
Candidate Management
Drive team processes to deliver excellent service to candidates Proactively identify high-demand candidates via advertising, LinkedIn, networking, and referrals Oversee consistent aftercare to maintain long-term candidate relationships
Leadership & Team Development
Own high-value clients and ensure smooth recruitment processes across the team Lead by example in best-practice recruitment, coaching, and mentoring to help team members exceed targets Recruit, onboard, and develop new hires while fostering a customer-centric, high-performance culture Set, monitor, and review activity and performance targets, ensuring accurate reporting through the CRM system (Bullhorn) Maintain accountability for team revenue against monthly and annual budgets
