Subrogation Specialist - Medical Payments (Remote)

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Handle an inventory of automotive damage, disputed liability, and cross‑jurisdictional claims
Initiate and manage arbitration between companies on disputed liability and/or damage claims
Negotiate and finalize recovery settlements while ensuring regulatory compliance
Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle auto claims within draft authority
Determine appropriate collection methods and file arbitrations as required
What is Required (Qualifications):
Minimum of 3 years of automotive claims liability experience
General or advanced knowledge of Department of Insurance regulations and compliance
Strong customer service, negotiation, and communication skills
Proficient analytical, problem‑solving, prioritization, and organizational skills
High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Experience with Medical Payments, PIP, or Bodily Injury claims
Understanding of various lines of coverage such as homeowners and auto
BA/BS in Business, Insurance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Demonstrated respect for diverse backgrounds through excellent communication skills
Active participation in company culture initiatives, such as employee resource groups
