The Opportunity
Join CACI and make a difference in national defense by supporting US Special Operations Command. We are seeking an expert SQL Database Administrator with advanced skills in managing and developing databases. This role is for self‑starters who can work independently in a fluid custom application environment and will be an integral part of a selective professional IT team that directly supports mission planning.
Location:
Fayetteville, NC – MUST be able to work onsite.
Responsibilities
Manage database objects, constraints, replication, and storage structures.
Perform SQL tuning and work with XML technologies.
Understand database schema, data modeling, and architecture.
Provide advice to software development and application teams.
Analyze, design, build, test, and implement database solutions.
Qualifications Required
Active TS/SCI clearance.
8+ years of progressive experience in complex analysis, design, development, and modification of Microsoft SQL and/or PostgreSQL databases to support enterprise architecture.
Proficiency in administering and deploying server equipment.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to obtain and maintain the appropriate level of Certification in accordance with DODD 8570.01.
Desired
Bachelor’s degree and three additional years of general experience in database administration, intelligence systems architecture, and geospatial systems.
Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) SQL Server certifications.

Pay Range Proposed salary range: $63,300 – $129,700. The range is the national average for this position and is influenced by geographic location, contract labor categories, and the candidate’s experience, skills, education, and certifications.
