SQL Database Administrator
with advanced skills in managing and developing databases. The role is limited to self‑starters with advanced experience in managing and developing databases, capable of working independently in a fluid custom application development environment. You will be an integral part of a selective professional IT team that directly supports the operational planning cycle to support mission success.
This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) organization in Fayetteville, NC. The selected candidate for hire must be able to work onsite.
Responsibilities
Manage database objects, constraints, replication, and storage structures.
Expertise in SQL tuning and XML technologies.
Strong understanding of database schema, data modeling, and architecture.
Provide advice to the software development team and support application teams.
Analyze, design, build, test, and implement database solutions.
Qualifications Required
Active TS/SCI clearance.
8 years of progressive experience performing complex analysis, design, development, and modification to improve the efficiency of Microsoft SQL and/or PostgreSQL databases in support of enterprise architecture.
Proficiency in administering and deploying server equipment.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to obtain and maintain currency of the appropriate level certification in accordance with DODD 8570.01.
Desired
Bachelor’s degree and three additional years of general experience in database administration, intelligence systems architecture, and geospatial systems experience are highly desirable.
Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) SQL Server certifications desired.
This position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately. However, it represents positions within CACI that are consistently available. Individuals who apply may also be considered for other positions at CACI.

Pay Range There are a host of factors that can influence final salary, including geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is $63,300–$129,700.
