Subrogation Specialist - Medical Payments (Remote)

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Manage incoming calls and handle a designated volume of arbitrations related to Medical Payments and PIP claims
Investigate and research losses to implement best practices for subrogation
Negotiate and conclude recovery settlements while ensuring regulatory compliance
Initiate and hear arbitration between companies on disputed liability and damage claims
Determine appropriate recovery methods and handle disputed liability claims
What is Required (Qualifications)
Minimum of 3 years of automotive claims liability experience
General knowledge of Department of Insurance regulations and compliance requirements
Strong customer service and negotiation skills
Proficient analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, and organizational skills
High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience with Medical Payments, PIP, and Bodily Injury claims
BA/BS in Business, Insurance, or a related area, or equivalent experience
Advanced knowledge of Department of Insurance regulations and compliance requirements
General understanding of different lines of coverage (e.g., homeowners, auto, personal property)
Demonstrates respect for diversity through excellent communication skills
