Direct Support Professional – Emanuel Residential Group Home
Join the Community Service Board of Middle Georgia to serve as a Direct Support Professional. This role is located in Dublin, Georgia, and supports residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities across multiple counties in Georgia. The position requires compassionate care, daily support for activities of daily living, and documentation of progress notes.
Pay Base hourly rate: $11.06 per hour. Pay will depend on experience and education.
Responsibilities
Monitor and supervise individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, ensuring safety and care.
Provide personal needs support and comfort to residents.
Assist with activities of daily living, such as eating, cleaning and basic hygiene.
Perform general housekeeping tasks at assigned locations.
Use observational skills to notice changes in behavior and physical condition.
Transport residents to community outings and events.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
Valid Georgia driver’s license.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse communities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Experience with Microsoft 365 Office products.
Ability to organize, prioritize and meet deadlines.
Experience as a personal care assistant or certified nursing assistant (preferred).
