Job Description This position is responsible for providing comprehensive advice and customized solutions to clients to help them achieve their financial goals. Key responsibilities include triaging client leads, making referrals to business partners based on client needs and asset thresholds, meeting with clients to review financial and investment goals, building a financial plan, and recommending brokerage products. The role may involve residential mortgage loan provision and requires compliance with the SAFE Act.
Responsibilities
Work with clients to plan short‑ and long‑term financial goals by building a financial plan with brokerage products such as stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, and banking solutions.
Recommend banking and investment strategies that align with client goals and needs.
Triage client requests and refer to internal service providers based on client needs and asset thresholds.
Mitigate and control risk as part of daily activities.
Identify and engage potential new clients through referrals or financial center clientele.
Provide coaching and feedback to referral partners based on client needs and product recommendations.
Required Qualifications
Currently holds Series 7 and 66 licenses (or Series 63/65 in lieu of 66) with a passing score within 60 days for the missing series.
Minimum of one year of experience in the investments industry, including investment training and in‑depth knowledge of investment products and services.
Minimum of one year of experience in the financial services industry and/or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded.
Goal‑oriented with a proven track record of achieving objectives.
Strong relationship‑building skills.
Effective collaboration and communication with clients and internal partners.
Capacity to manage goals, navigate complexity, prioritize tasks, and execute in a fast‑paced environment.
Continuous learning mindset and solution orientation for clients.
Time and capacity management.
Professional handling of regulatory due diligence in daily activities and long‑term client strategies.
Desired Qualifications
Strong computer skills and multitasking ability.
Minimum of three years of experience in the financial services industry or sales environment with met/exceeded goals.
Additional professional designations such as CFP or CRPC.
Insurance license(s) obtained.
