Base pay range
$80,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr
Construction and Development | Relationship Building | Staffing Solutions Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed and accurate steel cost estimates for commercial construction projects including schools, office buildings, warehouses, and public infrastructure
Analyze architectural and structural drawings, specifications, and scope documents to assess material, labor, and equipment needs
Use digital tools (e.g., Bluebeam, Takeoff, Excel) to perform take-offs and compile bid packages
Track bid results and assist in pricing strategy discussions
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, architects, and stakeholders
Attend pre-bid meetings and site walks as needed
Respond to RFIs, clarify scope, and support negotiations to help win work
Collaborate with purchasing and project management to support seamless project transitions
Qualifications
3+ years of experience estimating
Strong understanding of construction documents, blueprints and material take-offs
Experience in Steel is a plus, other relevant fields are curtain wall and architectural glass
Excellent communication, organization, and client relationship skills
