Mechanical Engineer-in-Training - Fire Safety

Base pay range:
$70,000.00 – $115,000.00 per year.

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Mechanical Engineer to join our team. This role involves BIM Revit modeling, preliminary assessments, concept creation, design, site inspection, testing, problem resolution, and drawing/specification production. You will work on a diverse portfolio of projects ranging from tunnels to facilities.
Responsibilities include preparing 3D models and CAD drawings using appropriate design criteria and technical manuals, coordinating with internal and external contacts, and performing interference checking and quality control. The role is a hybrid, full‑time position in New York City.
Qualifications
Higher Certificate / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Min 2 years of relevant experience on Revit and AutoCAD
Preferably possess an Engineer‑In‑Training (EIT)
Preferably possess a recognized certificate, diploma or above preferably in BIM, or equivalent
Solid experience in 3D modelling software application (Revit), BIM 360 / Construction Cloud, AutoCAD
Provide support to BIM manager, BIM coordinator and Sr Mechanical designer in BIM implementation on projects
Good command of spoken and written English
