As a member, you will play a role in the entire design process including BIM Revit Modeling, preliminary assessments, concept creation, design, site inspection, testing, problem resolution, and drawing and specification production. As part of a vibrant, dynamic team that delivers world‑class designs for well‑known clients while living in a small community with a family atmosphere.
We are looking for a Mechanical BIM Modeler with Revit software experience to support our NY/NJ Mechanical and Fire Life Safety team in the delivery of transportation facilities projects. In this role, you’ll be responsible for preparing 3D models and CAD drawings using appropriate design criteria and technical manuals, often working closely with senior engineers under general supervision. You’ll interface with internal and external contacts and coordinate with multiple project design disciplines for interference checking and quality control. The role involves working a hybrid, full‑time position in New York City.
Requirements
Higher Certificate / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience on Revit and AutoCAD
Preferably possess an Engineer‑In‑Training (EIT)
Preferably possess a recognized certificate, diploma or above preferably in BIM, or equivalent
Solid experience in 3D modelling software applications (Revit), BIM 360 / Construction Cloud, AutoCAD
Provide support to BIM manager, BIM coordinator and senior mechanical designer in BIM implementation on projects
Good command of spoken and written English
