Route Sales Representative Bonnie Plants, LLC

Essential Responsibilities

Calling on customers and potential customers to fill displays, obtain orders, and maintain Bonnie live products.

Negotiating sales terms, rack space and location, product quantity, product mix, and other conditions throughout the season.

Preparing and setting up Bonnie racks for sales and removing them as necessary.

Safely loading and securing products onto the delivery truck from designated greenhouse stations or off‑loading locations.

Delivering goods obtained in a safe and timely manner.

Unloading, merchandising, and properly displaying products on Bonnie racks in a safe and efficient manner.

Ensuring proper display of signage, banners, etc., to facilitate sales.

Assisting in collecting payments for sales from customers when necessary.

Safely transporting goods and equipment: driving the delivery truck in accordance with all traffic laws; ensuring the truck is properly loaded and secured; maintaining safe vehicle operation; performing minor maintenance.

Complying with all Department of Transportation rules and regulations: completing daily driver logs; performing vehicle inspections and associated paperwork; maintaining required records.

Attending Bonnie's annual sales meeting and other sales meetings as required by corporate or station managers.

Maintaining a safe, enthusiastic, presentable, respectful attitude toward customers and drivers/loader; expecting the same in return.

Demonstrating promptness and regular attendance; minimizing absences to avoid hardship to the company.

Minimum Education and Experience

Experience with delivery routes and non‑CDL box truck operation preferred.

Drug test required.

Background check required.

Licenses and/or Certificates Valid driver’s license required, and a clean driving record preferred.

Working Conditions Both indoor and outdoor work environments. Frequently exposed to extreme cold and hot temperatures, wet or humid conditions, and outdoor weather conditions.

Risk/Safety Conditions Moving mechanical parts and machinery, airborne particles, high temperatures, hazardous materials, etc.

Essential Physical Activities Walking, sitting, hearing, seeing up close and far, talking, standing, finger movement, repetitive motions, depth perception, regularly lifting 50 pounds, occasionally lifting 60+ pounds, climbing, crawling, stooping, crouching, and wearing PPE.
