Attorney – Full-time – Anchorage. Engaging position with opportunity to grow for motivated individual. Well established Anchorage immigration firm needs a diligent and self-motivated attorney with experience in immigration law. Responsibilities

Draft motions, pleadings, and memos; conduct legal research. Appear before USCIS and EOIR on behalf of clients. Conduct initial client consultations and maintain up-to-date files on individual matters. Maintain client database; respond to inquiries; complete form letters/pleadings; draft correspondence; assist with day-to-day tasks in a busy law office. Represent clients at hearings and assist with form preparation. Possess excellent interpersonal skills and take pride in work product. Work in a small, collaborative office environment with opportunity for growth and training as needed. Qualifications

J.D. from an ABA-accredited university. Barred in Alaska or willing and able to become barred in Alaska. Two years’ experience in immigration law; experience in family-based, removal defense, crimigration, asylum, or employment-based immigration is preferred; secondary experience in other areas is a plus. Experience representing clients at hearings and in form preparation. Fluency in Spanish is a huge bonus and may lead to a higher rate of pay. Bi-lingual candidates will receive heightened consideration and pay bump. Experience with client management software is a plus; proficiency with Office Suite and Adobe is required. Clinic or clerkship experience is a plus; typing proficiency and strong writing/grammar skills are essential. Employment Details

Job Type: Full-time Number of hires: 1 Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (flexible for the right candidate). Location: Anchorage, AK 99501 (in-person; ability to relocate required). Pay: $75,000.00 – $105,000.00 per year, dependent on experience and bilingual status.
