The position involves creating a secure and nurturing learning environment and implementing initiatives to address bullying, violence, and intolerance affecting students and the school community. Counselor Responsibilities: Design and execute programs to meet students' mental and emotional needs. Address students' academic, social, emotional, and personal issues. Facilitate communication between students, parents, and educators to foster positive relationships. Provide support and guidance to students on personal and academic issues. Mediate relationships between students, parents, and teachers. Arrange meetings with students and/or parents requiring intervention or support. Identify and manage risky behaviors to prevent behavioral problems and threats. Support students' academic performance while promoting overall wellness. Refer students to mental health professionals as needed. Counselor Requirements: Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or counseling. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a professional counselor. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to empathize and help students open up. Strong decision-making and perceptive intuition skills. Professionalism and a strong work ethic. Leadership qualities, sound judgment, and attention to detail. Effective time management and organizational skills.
