We are seeking a skilled Account Manager to join our dynamic Insurance team in The Woodlands.
Key Responsibilities Include
Serve as primary day-to-day client contact; manage client service needs; present custom solutions to clients and prospects in a clear and professional manner.
Communicate client needs to the account management team and coordinate client services, including but not limited to claims reviews, insurance training, kick-off meetings, and renewal strategy meetings.
Analyze client risk profiles and develop marketing strategies with team and clients.
Review all client documents (quotes, binders, policies, endorsements), recommending changes for improvement.
Cultivate relationships with local carriers to support company visibility and credibility in the construction insurance marketplace.
Participate in off-site meetings with carriers, clients, and prospects as required.
Conduct research and compile information into presentation formats.
Assist with training and overseeing Account Associates.
Review, analyze, process, and follow up with clients on various documents and issues such as policy audits, notices of cancellation, invoices, certificates, proposals, and endorsements.
Bind insurance coverages, address binding subjectivities, and convert proposals to summaries post-binding.
Conduct detailed data analyses related to exposures, losses, premiums, rates, and other financial metrics.
Identify key individuals within client organizations and maintain effective relationships.
Maintain ongoing communication with clients and industry partners to ensure high customer service standards.
Provide backup support for team members as needed.
Maintain necessary insurance licenses and CE requirements.
Perform additional responsibilities as required.
Skills & Experience That Lead to Success:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Applied Epic, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Pro systems
Typically 2 to 5 years of industry experience with strong technical property and casualty knowledge
Additional/Preferred Qualifications:
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to travel as required
