Vice President of Global Aftermarket

dave@fpcbrighton.com ) Position Summary We are seeking a transformative and strategic Vice President of Global Aftermarket. The ideal candidate will be both a commercial ace and an operations ace who can consolidate and grow a profitable aftermarket business (“paint your own masterpiece on a blank canvas”). Key Responsibilities Develop a coherent Aftermarket growth strategy and implementation plan across our Grain and Protein businesses
Lead the cross-functional execution of the plan to harness the aftermarket potential from a large installed base Lead the Distribution Centers and other personnel dedicated to the Aftermarket business (approximately 50 persons at this time) Prioritize North America and expand the initiative globally – after it has achieved traction in North America (after ~first 18 months) Develop a growth plan that recognizes the strong preferences of the end customer – how they wish to be served and the influences of the channel GPT’s goal is to add significant millions in EBITDA through this initiative, while strengthening our after-sale responsiveness value proposition Location is flexible with an expectation of significant travel (expect 3/4 weeks) o Time at the Assumption, IL HQ interacting with engineering, manufacturing, and business teams o Time with end-customers and channel partners o Time at the AM distribution centers that will report directly into the individual (Grain DC in Clearlake Iowa, Swine DC in Sioux City, Grain Warehouse in Newton, IL) Leadership Competencies Metrics-Driven: Thinks in unit economics and measurable KPIs. Develops the set of metrics applicable to an Aftermarket operation Legacy-Oriented: Motivated by impact beyond self-interest. Authentic & Accountable: Engaged leader who shows up at the frontlines (Gemba). Hard-Working: Commits to what it takes to deliver results. Strategic Thinker: Uses critical thinking to drive root-cause solutions. Humble & Curious: Lifelong learner with a growth mindset. Proven Change Agent: Demonstrated ability to drive major turnarounds. Influential and Inspirational: Lead principally through influence across existing business and functional organizational constructs Other Requirements Skill sets and experiences will ideally be 55% Commercial and 45% Operational This is a roll-up-your-sleeve leadership role (like all roles at GPT) 15+ years of progressive operations leadership roles 5+ years of prior aftermarket leadership experience Bachelors Degree or equivalent preferred
