Position Summary The Regional Account Manager (RAM) – Small Format is responsible for driving sales growth within key regional small format retailers crucial to the growth of Electrolit. This position involves close collaboration with local distributors to effectively implement sales strategies and leverage opportunities with field sales teams to create impactful promotions. The RAM builds strong account relationships to foster revenue growth, identifies new business opportunities, and ensures customers’ needs are met through a comprehensive understanding of Electrolit’s offerings. In addition, the RAM maintains regular communication to enhance customer satisfaction and promote contract renewals while advising internal teams based on valuable account feedback.

Location/Region: East

Collaborate with local distributors and Electrolit Team to ensure effective execution of sales plans.

Conduct rigorous business planning, selling, and analysis to drive sales growth.

Collaborate effectively with external KDP key account managers to drive strategic partnerships and maximize business opportunities.

Manage retail selling and account management activities to build Electrolit sales in small format retailers.

Develop, manage, and report on the sales pipeline.

Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay informed about industry trends.

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing accounts to ensure retention and upsell opportunities.

Develop and implement promotions and programming to drive sales at regional retailers.

Prepare and present reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitive analysis.

Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

Attend industry events and trade shows to promote the company's services and network with potential regional accounts.

Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Strong understanding of sales and account management principles.

Excellent analytical and business planning skills.

Ability to build and maintain relationships with key accounts and distributors.

Proficiency in using sales and business analysis tools.

Strong communication, negotiation and closing skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Knowledge of market trends and competitive landscape.

Proficiency in CRM/TPM software, Excel, PowerPoint and account management tools.

Some knowledge in analyzing and interpreting IRI and Nielsen data to drive informed business decisions.

High level of organizational and time management skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in Retail CPG Beverage sales, and key account roles.

Proven track record of achieving sales targets and business objectives.

Experience in managing relationships with regional retailers and distributors.

Other Requirements

Legally authorized to work in the USA

Reliable transportation

Valid driver license and vehicle insurance

Ability to travel (60% overnight and out‑of‑region travel, 20% ground travel).

Physical Requirements

Must be able to travel extensively within the designated region.

Ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds occasionally.

Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and driving.

Ability to work in various environments, including office settings, retail locations, and trade shows.
