Channel Impact is seeking an Event Manager to join our events team. In this role, you will support the development of an intelligent and thoughtful end-to-end attendee experience for the client’s sales kickoff and large partner events and programs in conjunction with our Experience Design Lead and Business Partner.
This is a full-time, salaried position with benefits for a remote worker within the United States.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Consult on overall event strategy and program priorities.
Support development of Attendee Journey through an end-to-end experience for both the in person and digital audience.
Manage experience design timeline and understand how experience design milestones impact other work stream milestones, such as technology/platform and communications.
Support Experience Design Lead in development of Experience Design Meetings (EDKO (Experience Design Kick-off), EDS (Experience Design Summits) in partnership with external agencies.
Monitor development of experiential components to ensure alignment with overall strategic objectives.
Track innovation developments and continue to drive team adoption.
Review and understand event feedback and audience reports to guide experience design.
What You Bring:
7+ years in experience design field within the tech industry (required).
The ability to balance, prioritize and drive multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced hi-tech environment.
Passion for pushing the boundaries and not settling for status quo.
Demonstrated ability to help a team navigate ambiguity.
Effectiveness in working collaboratively across organizational boundaries to align and influence strategy and roadmaps.
Empathy for and curiosity around the work of creative professionals.
Comfort in uncertainty; strong presence when presenting work.
Strong interpersonal, visual, written, and oral communication skills.
BA/BS degree in Marketing, Events, or similar.
Competitive compensation commensurate with experience.
